Darius has built his career around a deep understanding of canine behavior, pack dynamics, and specialized dog socialization. Driven by a lifelong passion for animal welfare, Darius established Happy Paws Inn in 2016 to provide a safe, high-quality, and cage-free sanctuary where dogs of all temperaments can socialize, play, and thrive in a comfortable environment.

Darius’s technical expertise in dog behavior and pack management stems from over 16 years of active involvement with Atlanta Lab Rescue, including a formal 5-year facility partnership. Over the course of his rescue work, Darius has personally fostered, trained, socialized, and rehomed more than 500 rescue dogs directly through his facility.
